Business Systems Analyst

This is our direct client opening for a Systems Analyst located in Columbus, WI. This is a permanent position and the salary offered is $60-75K. Our client is willing to see non local candidates - however - there is no relocation package offered for this role.
Responsibilities
1. Develop an understanding of all features of each CS module and their impact on other modules.
2. Analyze and develop understanding of how data flows through the system and apply that knowledge to the current business model.
3. Identify and define system errors and/or deficiencies. Liaise with software developer to determine best path solutions and manage the priorities through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
5. Extract key business performance metrics from Progress Database associated with Chempax CS.
6. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine areas of opportunity for increased efficiencies.
7. Create written user documentation, instructions, and procedures for the purpose of training new employees and improving over-all user proficiency.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer and Information Sciences and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Our ERP system, Chempax CS, is specifically developed for the chemical distribution industry but its features are fairly common:
